Effect Of Balanced Voltages On The Movement Of Metallic Particles In A Three Phase Common Enclosure Gas Insulated
نویسنده
چکیده
The reliability of gas insulated substations can be improved by eliminating the effects of metallic particles. The purpose of this paper is to develop techniques, which will formulate the basic equations that will govern the movement of particles like aluminum, copper in uncoated as well as coated Busduct.

Modelling and Simulation of Trajectories of a Wire Like Particle in a Three Phase Common Enclosure Gas Insulated Busduct (GIB) with Image Charges
Abstract: In recent years, SF6 gas insulated switchgear (GIS) has become more widespread in electrical power substations and GIS rated from 66 to 1100kV are working successfully. The GIS is used in closed vessels, isolated from the atmosphere. This gives it intrinsically high insulation reliability because there is no contact with dirt or contaminates. To assure even better reliability, measure...

In this paper, the trajectories of free conducting particles of various sizes inside a three phase common enclosure Gas Insulated Busduct(GIB) are simulated by solving the nonlinear second order differential equation of particle motion iteratively by using RK 4 Order Method. Compressed Gas Insulated Substations(GIS) consists of a conductor supported by spacers inside of Sulphur hexafluoride gas...
متن کاملAnalysis of effective factors on transient ground potential rise in gas insulated substations
This study presents the manner in which transient modeling concepts, which are fully analyzed in the referred standards, are implemented, for the purpose of evaluating the Transient Ground Potential Rise (TGPR). This is a phenomenon of 10–100kV voltages with up to 10μs duration on the grounded enclosure of Gas Insulated Substations (GIS), which may cause concern for personnel safety and problem...

متن کاملEffect of Lightning Impulse Voltage on the Performance of 1-phase Gas Insulated Busduct in the Presence of Metallic Particle Contamination with Sf6/n2 Gas Mixtures
SF6 is the main mode of insulation in a GIS. However, in recent years, the future use of SF6 has been debated throughout the world in spite of it having all the desirable properties of a good insulating and arc quenching medium. Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) has been used as a gaseous dielectric (insulator) in high voltage equipment since the 1950s. It is now known that SF6 is a potent greenhouse w...
